Recruitment Privacy Policy

wesionaryTEAM Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "The Company") will handle the personal information of each applicant (hereafter referred to as "The Applicant") acquired in relation to the recruitment activities based on the Privacy Policy for Recruitment Activities (hereafter referred to as "Main Policy"). Our Company requests the Applicant to provide personal information for the recruitment activities. Please review the contents of our Main Policy as you agree that your personal information will be used and provided in accordance with this policy. Please refer to here for the privacy policy regarding our organization.

  1. Personal Information to be Collected

    The personal information referred to in this Policy shall mean the personal information stipulated in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003). In order to achieve the purposes stated in "2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information" below, the Company will acquire the Applicant's personal information, including but not limited to the following, from the Applicant, recruitment agents, or outsourced service providers such as background check agencies:

    • Name, age, address, date of birth, telephone number, email address, educational background, work history, qualifications held, current annual income, desired annual income, and all other information designated by the Company as personal information.
    • All information contained in documents provided by the Applicant to the Company, such as resumes, job history, entry forms, and questionnaires, regardless of their format.
    • All communication between the Company and the Applicant in any form, including but not limited to dialogues, emails, and phone calls, conducted during the recruitment activities (including communication during interviews).
    • All information acquired by the Company through background checks, reference checks, and other verification procedures for recruitment screening.
    • The Applicant's history of application and participation in recruitment activities, and the results of recruitment screening.

    The personal information acquired by the Company may include sensitive information such as gender, health status, and nationality (hereinafter referred to as "Sensitive Information"). The provision of Sensitive Information is voluntary, and the Company will only acquire Sensitive Information with the Applicant's prior consent. The Company will use the acquired Sensitive Information only to the extent necessary for the improvement of the Company's recruitment process (including diversity promotion), appropriate assignment of work, health management, and support for obtaining necessary visas or work permits.

  2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

    The Company will use the personal information acquired from the Applicant only within the necessary scope for the purpose of the Company's recruitment activities as follows:

    • To evaluate the eligibility of the Applicant for the Company's recruitment screening (including background checks, reference checks, and other verification procedures).
    • To improve the Company's recruitment process (including diversity promotion).
    • To ensure the appropriate assignment of work and health management at the Company.
    • Assistance in obtaining required entry visas and work permits
    • To support the Applicant with information regarding the Company's employment opportunities and events.
    • For the improvement of the Company's employment opportunities and events or for satisfaction surveys.
    • To contact the Applicant regarding the Company's recruitment activities.
    • To manage the Applicant's personal information.
    • For statistical use for future recruitment planning and other purposes related to recruitment activities.

    Except as permitted by law, the Company will not use the Applicant's personal information for purposes other than those stated above. If the Company handles the Applicant's personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purposes stated above, the Company will obtain the Applicant's separate consent.

  3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

    Except as otherwise provided below, we will not provide the personal information of applicants to third parties without the consent of the applicants themselves. However, this provision does not apply if the third party is located overseas as defined in Article 24 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

    • When required by law.
    • When necessary to protect human life, body or property, and it is difficult to obtain the applicant's consent.
    • When necessary for the improvement of public health, and it is difficult to obtain the applicant's consent.

  4. Commissioning of Personal Information Handling to Third Parties

    We may entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to a business partner within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use as described in "2. Purpose of Use". In such cases, we will conduct a sufficient examination to ensure that the business partner meets the selection criteria established by us and ensure that the personal information is properly managed under contract. Please note that the business partner may include third parties located overseas as defined in Article 24 of the Personal Information Protection Act, and in such cases, we may provide personal information within the necessary scope for the commissioning.

    • Management and Security of Personal Information

      We will safely store the personal information obtained from applicants in a server environment that is not accessible to the general public and make every effort to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration or leakage, etc. In regard to the personal information of applicants who have been accepted for employment, we will store and manage it based on our internal regulations as employee information. For the personal information of applicants who have not been accepted for employment, we will retain it within the necessary scope for the improvement of our hiring process, provision of information on future employment opportunities and events, etc. for a certain period of time.

      • Procedures for Disclosure, Correction, and Suspension of Use of Personal Information

        We will respond appropriately in accordance with applicable laws if we receive a request for disclosure, correction, or suspension of use of personal information from applicants. If you wish to make a request for disclosure, correction, or suspension of use of personal information, please contact the person in charge of our company as indicated in "9. Contact Us". Please note that the following information is not subject to disclosure, correction, or suspension of use:

        • Information related to our selection process
        • Evaluation information related to our pass or fail results

        If an applicant wishes to correct personal information submitted via the registration form, we will accept the correction by re-submitting the latest personal information reflecting the correction via the registration form.

      • Improvement and Update of This Policy

        We may change the content of this policy if we deem it necessary. In such cases, we will notify applicants of the content and effective date of the revised privacy policy in advance by posting it on the website of this service or by any other method deemed appropriate by us. However, if we make changes that require the consent of the applicants under applicable laws, we will obtain such consent by the method deemed appropriate by us. Please note that if an applicant uses this service after the specified deadline for notification, it will be deemed that he/she has agreed to the revised privacy policy, except where prohibited by law.
